About LMD

LMD is a residential and mixed-use developer founded in 2007. The company says it expanded into the UAE in 2011 through Continental Investments Company. Founder and CEO Amr Sultan leads the group, while Hamad Al Abbar is named as managing partner of LMD UAE.

UAE portfolio

LMD's UAE portfolio includes Continental Tower and Marina Living in Dubai Marina, The Pier in Dubai Maritime City, La Boutique and Boutique XII in Al Jaddaf, and Rukan in Dubailand.

The portfolio spans established and current projects, so this profile presents milestones by project rather than combining them into one delivery total.

Recent milestones

In 2026, LMD announced the handover of Marina Living, a 20-storey residential development in Dubai Marina. The Pier was launched in September 2024 as an AED 750 million waterfront project in Dubai Maritime City.

Company footprint

Beyond the UAE, LMD publishes a wider portfolio across Egypt and selected European markets. The Dubai profile here keeps UAE projects separate from that international activity.

Where LMD builds

How LMD differs from other Dubai developers

LMD builds in Dubai through a separate UAE company, Continental Investment Company, founded in 2011. Its Dubai work sits at five addresses and mixes one master-planned community in Dubailand with apartment buildings on three waterfronts.

A Dubai arm with its own company
The UAE business was incorporated in 2011 as Continental Investment Company and trades as Continental Investments LMD. The Egyptian parent is Landmark for Real Estate Developments S.A.E.
Three buildings on one waterfront
Boutique XII, La Boutique and Boutique 23 all stand at Al Jaddaf Waterfront, and the company calls Boutique XII the first of the series.
A community, not only towers
Rukan in Dubailand holds gated townhouses, lofts, the five-storey Rukan Residences and the eight-storey Rukan Tower across an area the company gives as 2.6M.
A completed phase inspected by the regulator
A Dubai Land Department delegation led by Director General Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita visited Rukan's completed first and second phases on site.
Withholds its own totals
LMD's Chief Development Officer stated in August 2026 that the company does not disclose portfolio valuation or delivery volumes. The one Dubai-wide figure it does publish is around 3,000 units.
Named outside design teams
Arkiplan for architecture and J2 Design of Singapore for interiors on The Pier Residence; LaCasa for architecture and consultancy on Marina Living.
Why GRAF recommends LMD

LMD suits a buyer of one- to three-bedroom apartments in Dubai who wants a developer with a finished tower and a finished community already standing in the emirate, at Dubai Marina, Al Jaddaf Waterfront, Dubai Maritime City or Wasl Gate.
