Select Group company profile
Select Group was founded in Dubai in September 2002 by Rahail Aslam, who had already built and sold an IT hardware distribution business in the UK, and who bought into Dubai Marina while the canal was still a construction site. The group does three things at once: it develops and sells homes, it owns and operates hotels and golf resorts in the UK, Germany and Dubai, and it invests in property it does not build itself. The one Select Group project GRAF sells is Artistry One Residences at Dubai Design District. See "Who owns Select Group?" below for the legal entity and the scale figures.
Dubai Marina, and everything after it
Select Group is known for many buildings in Dubai — among the best known are the ones it put up in Dubai Marina, where the company's own timeline runs from Yacht Bay in October 2007 through The Point and Royal Oceanic in December 2009, The Torch and Botanica Tower in 2011, Bay Central in December 2012, West Avenue in September 2014, The Residences at Marina Gate I in July 2018, No.9 in January 2019, The Residences at Marina Gate II in July 2019 and Jumeirah Living Marina Gate in September 2020; Studio One stands in the same district. Outside the Marina it completed The Pacific on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah in February 2017, and it has since built in Business Bay, on Palm Jumeirah and at Dubai Maritime City.
Its current Dubai pipeline is Peninsula in Business Bay, where handovers have been running since 2025; Nautica One and Nautica Two at Dubai Maritime City, due in 2026; Six Senses Residences Dubai Marina, due in 2029; and Artistry One and Artistry Two at Dubai Design District, launched in January and February 2026 with handover stated for 2029 — see our off-plan buyer's guide for how a five-year handover horizon like this compares with other Dubai launches. Land at Palm Jebel Ali and further plots at d3 came through the strategic agreement with Dubai Holding described in the FAQ below, and neither has published unit counts yet.
Outside the UAE, Select Group has completed 15 Northside and 98 Baker Street in London, both in 2023, holds towers in Liverpool, Sheffield and Nottingham, and runs five golf resorts in the United Kingdom with more than 530 keys. Project-specific prices, payment plans and delivery dates come from the current official sales information for each development.
